Kannur: In the case of ADM Naveen Babu’s suicide, the Human Rights Commission has filed a case against PP Divya. The district administration received a notice from the Human Rights Commission following a complaint demanding legal action against the District Panchayat President, P P Divya.
Judicial Member of the Commission, K. Baijunath, instructed the District Collector and District Police Chief to review the complaint and submit a report within two weeks. The case will be considered at a sitting on November 19 at the Kannur Government Guest House. The complaint alleges that the District Panchayat President attended the farewell ceremony for the ADM uninvited and accused the ADM of corruption.
The complainant also demanded compensation for Naveen Babu’s family and a job for a dependent, stating that the President’s actions were completely illegal. The complaint was filed by human rights activist Adv. V. Devadas.
