The much-awaited Pushpa 2 is creating history at the Indian box office. The film has amassed ₹950 crore globally and is on track to hit the ₹1,000 crore milestone. This marks the first time in Indian cinema history that a movie is nearing ₹1,000 crore within just six days of its release.
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, Pushpa 2: The Rule has already doubled its estimated ₹500 crore production cost in under a week. The film was released across more than 12,500 screens worldwide and grossed ₹100 crore from pre-sales alone. It is available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Bengali languages.
Reports suggest that Pushpa 2 is living up to expectations as a box office juggernaut following the global blockbuster success of *Pushpa: The Rise*. With stunning visuals, captivating music by rock star Devi Sri Prasad, and Sukumar’s masterful direction, the sequel has redefined cinematic experiences.
The first installment, Pushpa: The Rise, had won two National Film Awards and seven State Film Awards. Alongside Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the cast of Pushpa 2 includes Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
