When Arjun’s lorry was recovered from the Gangavali river, only a few tears remained. Arjun’s two mobile phones, wallet, watch and son’s toys were recovered from the cabin.
Items used in Arjun’s journey were recovered from the lorry. Arjun was traveling in front of the cab in the lorry with Arjun’s bag, two phones and a toy. Anian Abhijit said that Arjun had bought it for his son. Arjun’s clothes were also taken out earlier. The cabin of the lorry, which was completely taken out this morning, is being inspected.
Kannada SP M Narayana responded that the post-mortem proceedings will be completed today. The samples were sent to the Mangaluru Forensic Lab. Hope to get the test result tomorrow. The Karnataka Police will accompany the dead body to Kerala. M Narayana said that it was a joint mission of both the states in Shirur.
As soon as the DNA results are available, the process will begin to bring Arjun’s body home. Arjun’s wife Krishnapriya has asked her brother to bring back all the things in the lorry that Arjun used. The body will be handed over to the relatives tomorrow if the results of the examination come. The Karnataka government has stated that the process will be completed as soon as possible. The search for the other two missing persons will continue, officials said.
