An attempted ATM robbery occurred in Alappuzha, with the thief managing to escape after the alarm was triggered. CCTV footage captured the masked thief arriving on a scooter.
This incident follows the shocking ATM theft in Thrissur. The theft attempt took place at an ATM adjacent to SBI Bank. The thief arrived around midnight, and within moments of starting the robbery, the alarm went off, prompting him to flee the scene.
Once the alarm was activated, the control room received the alert, which was communicated to the relevant police station. The police have since launched an investigation into the incident, with fingerprint experts among those collecting evidence.
