Baby throwing incident in Kochi: Investigation focused on three people, Arrest soon

Kochi: The investigation into the death of a baby from a flat in Panampilly Nagar has reached a critical stage. The investigation is centered on the 5C apartment in the nearby Vanshika apartment where the baby’s body was found. There is an old woman, a young woman and a young man. During the inspection conducted by the police, a blood stain was found in the toilet of the flat. Now the police have come to the conclusion that the birth took place here. The police are interrogating the three in detail. More police have also been deployed to the flat. The police are giving hints that arrests will be made soon.

The Amazon parcel cover used to wrap the baby’s body is also being investigated. The police suspect that it may have missed its target and fell on the road while being dragged to the empty field in front of the flat. The case is being investigated by the Special Investigation Team.

Some people noticed that the package had fallen on the road and informed the sanitation workers about it. When they arrived and checked, they found the baby’s body in full of blood. Then the police was informed. The police say that the baby was thrown down after being covered by a courier from a nearby flat complex. The CCTV footage of this has been released. As part of the investigation, the police have also collected the CCTV footage of the nearby area.

There are 21 flats in the complex. Three of these are vacant. The residents of the nearby flat informed the police that the residents had not come here recently.
