Moran Mor Athanasios Yohan the First Metropolitan (KP Yohannan), the Supreme Leader of the Believers Eastern Church, was seriously injured in a car accident. The accident happened around 05:25 pm on Tuesday in Dallas, USA.
KP Yohannan was hit by an unknown vehicle during his morning walk. He suffered severe head and chest injuries. He is currently admitted in the intensive care unit. Believers Eastern Church announced that the surgery was successfully completed. Doctors are monitoring his progress. Believers Eastern Church requested the believers to pray for the speedy recovery of the Metropolitan.
KP Yohannan arrived in America four days ago. KP Yohanan regularly conducts morning walks on the campus where the Texas headquarters of Believers Eastern Church is located. The accident happened when he was walking outside the campus.
