Muscat: Three nurses, including two Malayalis, died in a car accident in Niswa, Oman. Majida Rajesh, a native of Thrissur, and Shajeera Ilyas, a native of Kollam, are the deceased Malayalees. Two nurses were injured. The third person who died was an Egyptian woman.
A group of five people were hit by a vehicle while crossing the road. The group of nurses was going to work. It is reported that the vehicle that hit was over speeding.
