Second Accused in Panur Bomb Blast Case Transferred to Hospital Under CPM Control

Kannur: The second accused V.P.Vineesh (37) of Valiyaparambath, who was undergoing treatment after being injured in a bomb blast in Panur, was arrested by the CPM. Transferred to Thalassery Cooperative Hospital under control. His left palm was cut off and he was seriously injured and was being treated at a private hospital in Kozhikode for a month.

He was transferred to Thalassery Cooperative Hospital last day. The suspect is under police surveillance at the hospital. The police informed that he will be arrested after he leaves the hospital. All the accused except Vineesh were arrested in connection with the blast.

The investigating team said that Vineesh was directly involved in making the bomb. On April 5, around 1.30 in the morning, an explosion occurred during the construction of a bomb on the terrace of a house under construction in Mooliamthod, Kunnothuparam.
