YouTuber Mohammed Shaheen Shah, the owner of the channel “Manavalan Vlogs,” has been remanded for 14 days by the Thrissur Judicial Magistrate Court in a case of attempted vehicular homicide involving college students.
He was arrested by the Thrissur West Police yesterday after being on the run. The incident in question occurred on April 19, 2024, following a dispute at Kerala Varma College. Shaheen and his associates allegedly attempted to run over students with a car. Mohammed Shaheen Shah, who had been in hiding, was eventually apprehended from Kodagu.
This morning, the accused was brought to the Thrissur West Police Station and, after a medical examination, presented before the court. The incident stemmed from a confrontation at Kerala Varma College. The accused reportedly targeted Gautam Krishna and his friend, who were on a scooter, with the intention to harm them. Both sustained serious injuries in the attack.
