The DGP’s report against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar will be submitted to the government today. The state police chief completed the report last night. The investigation reports on the complaints filed by PV Anwar MLA and the meeting with the RSS leaders will be submitted.
The deadline for completing the investigation and submitting the report had expired on Thursday. But the report was not submitted. Then, in an emergency meeting held at the police headquarters, Sheikh Darvesh Sahib informed the investigation team members that the report would be submitted by yesterday evening. The DGP had informed that along with the inquiry report on Anwar’s complaints, he would also submit the inquiry report on the meeting with the RSS leaders. But it didn’t happen. Then the DGP remained at the police headquarters till 11 pm and completed the reports.
It has been decided to hand over both the reports to the Chief Minister this morning. The Chief Minister may take action against Ajit Kumar after examining the findings and recommendations of the DGP’s report.
