Ayodhya: Construction of 161-feet-high spire of Ram temple Commences

Construction of Ayodhya temple’s main gopuram has started. Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the temple construction committee, said that the construction would be completed within four months. The main tower will be 161 feet tall. Besides, the construction of seven other temples dedicated to the seven sages in the complex is also going on at a fast pace.

He also said that these seven temples are expected to be completed within the next four months. A three-day review meeting has been scheduled to discuss issues related to expediting the Ram temple construction. There are plans to increase the manpower for the construction work and deploy technical team if necessary.

Mishra had earlier said that the construction of the Ram Temple complex would be completed by June 30, 2025. It will take around 120 days to complete the construction of the tower. Our target was December, but that was not possible. Construction is expected to be completed by February 2025. Sapta Mandir will be completed by December 2024. Mishra said.
