Thiruvananthapuram: A complaint has been lodged against the Congress district president for the wrong singing of the national anthem. The BJP leader filed a complaint with the police against DCC President Palode Ravi in Thiruvananthapuram.
BJP Thiruvananthapuram District Vice President BS Rajeev has lodged a complaint with Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner alleging insult to the National Anthem. The incident which is the basis of the complaint takes place at the concluding meeting of the Samaragni program organized by KPCC.
Palod Ravi signing National Anthem wrongly with a rhythm on the mic stand which should not have happened. Those who see it can understand that it is deliberate. Therefore, it is requested to investigate this matter and take action on it’. The BJP leader demanded in the complaint.
Former MLA Palode Ravi wrongly sang the National Anthem at the closing ceremony of the Samaragni Yatra held at Putharikandam Maidani, Thiruvananthapuram. Noticing the mistake, MLA T Siddique intervened and stopped Palode Ravi from singing the national anthem. Palode Ravi’s wrong singing of national anthem has become a big debate.
