Meanwhile, a dead body of a man was found in Shirur, Karnataka. The dead body was found floating in Shiroor Honnawara sea. The body was found by fishermen. Fishermen say that the dead body is caught in the net.

The district administration has informed that they need to bring the dead body to the shore to find out if it is the body of someone who was affected by the Shirur landslide. This is the area where the Ganges River flows. A fisherman went missing from here the other day. Meanwhile, Arjun’s family has demanded a DNA test on the body.

Ishwar Malpe said that the dead body was in such a decomposed state that it could not be confirmed at a glance. Malpe said it was a male body with a net on his leg and a net on his hand. A native of Odisha also went missing from the area a few days ago. However, there is a slight possibility that it could be Arjun’s dead body.

He said that a DNA test should be done to confirm who it belongs to. There is still uncertainty as to when the search will begin in Shirur. Despite the High Court’s directive, the Karnataka government has remained silent on the matter. The family members spoke to diver Ishwar Malpe today. Malpe informed the family that the flow in the Gangavali river is low and the search may resume.
