Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the landslide-hit Wayanad disaster area on Saturday. After landing at Kannur airport, you will reach Wayanad by helicopter.
The Prime Minister will visit the disaster area and the camp. Modi had promised all kinds of help to Kerala since the time of the disaster.
As part of the inspections, the SPG team had reached Wayanad and started the inspection. Modi will also visit the relief camps when he arrives in the disaster-hit area. Kerala is looking forward to whether Modi will make an important announcement on the state government’s demand to declare it a national disaster.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had told the media yesterday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Wayanad. After meeting with Modi, he said that the final decision in this regard will be taken at the appropriate time.
