Kochi: A significant report related to the Perumbavoor law student’s murder case has been submitted to the Supreme Court. The report, prepared by the Medical Board at Thrissur Medical College, states that Ameerul Islam, the accused sentenced to death in the case, has no mental health issues.
The report indicates that Ameerul Islam does not suffer from mental distress, anxiety, or fear. Additionally, a behavior certificate prepared by the Superintendent of Viyyur Central Jail was also submitted to the court. The certificate states that Ameerul Islam has not been penalized for any offenses within the jail.
