Wayanad. The VC has suspended the dean and tutor of Pookod Veterinary University in connection with Siddharth’s death. College Dean MK Narayanan and Assistant Warden Kanthanath were suspended.
Both were issued show cause notices by the VC. The VC rejected their reply and took action. The explanation of both of them is that there has been no failure in the matter. In the explanation given to the VC, the duo clarified that they intervened after learning of the death and took legal action.
Meanwhile, the VC is of the view that the explanation is not satisfactory. Dean says that he went directly to the procedures including post-mortem and talked to the students.
