Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and many other cabinet ministers receive bomb threat. Threat mails were received from terrorist organizations on Tuesday. Bengaluru Police’s City Crime Branch has registered a case and started an investigation into the incident. At 2.48 pm on Saturday, the Karnataka government received an email containing a bomb threat warning of a possible blast targeting officials in Bengaluru.

Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Home Minister and Bengaluru Police Commissioner were targeted in the previous blast. The email also mentioned that the criminals wanted $2.5 million to prevent the planned blast. A warning has been issued that explosions may occur in crowded places like restaurants, temples, buses and trains.
