Efforts to Quickly Obtain DNA Results of Body Part Found Inside the Lorry, While Operations to Lift the Lorry Will Continue Today

The DNA results of the body part recovered from inside the lorry will be available within two days. A sample will be collected from the body kept at the Karwar Kims Hospital mortuary and sent to the Regional Forensic Science Lab in Hubli for DNA testing. Give the body to the relatives only after the results (Arjun Mission).

The action is based on the family’s demand that a DNA test be conducted to confirm that the body is Arjun’s. The Karnataka government has stated that the search for the other two missing in the landslide will continue. The search for Lokesh and Jagannathan, natives of Karnataka, continues today.

The lorry was found at a depth of 12 meters in the Gangavali River. It was raised from the river in the afternoon but could not be brought to the shore. The lorry will be moved to the shore tomorrow as the rope broke while it was being brought to the shore. Efforts will continue to bring the lorry to shore at around 8 am today.
