Kochi: The Ernakulam POCSO court has issued an order acquitting Monson Mavungal in the rape case. The Ernakulam POCSO court acquitted him in the case of raping a girl who worked as Monson’s manager.
Monson was also acquitted in the second POCSO case. The verdict was that of the Perumbavoor POCSO court. The court found Joshi, the first accused in this case, guilty. Joshi, the first accused, was the manager of Monson Mavungal.
Monson Mavungal was charged with incitement. The same complainant in the POCSO case that convicted Monson Mavungal also filed the complaint in this case. 16 cases, including archaeological fraud, have been registered against Monson.
