Even today, the Supreme Court has not considered the SNC Lavlin case

There is no hearing in the SNC Lavalin case today. The case was listed for final hearing by the Supreme Court today but was not taken up. Lavalin was listed as case number 113 in the court.But Lavalin’s case was not taken up for consideration because the hearing of case number 101 was prolonged. After the hearing of the 101st case, the court adjourned after hearing two more cases.

It was reported that the final arguments in the Lavalin case will begin today in the Supreme Court. The petition was heard by a bench comprising Justice Suryakant and Justice KV Viswanathan.The case, which has entered its eighth year in the Supreme Court, was last heard on February 6. The case has been listed 30 times so far. The case is that there was an irregularity in entering into an agreement with Canada’s SNC Lavalin Company for the renovation of Panniyar, Chengulam and Pallivasal hydropower projects and this caused a loss of 86.25 crores.
