Thiruvananthapuram: The final voter list for the Lok Sabha elections in the state has been prepared. There are 2,77,49,159 voters in the final electoral roll across the state. There is an increase of 6,49,833 voters from the electoral roll published on January 22. Meanwhile, 2,01,417 people were excluded in the voter list purge.
There are 5,34,394 girl voters (age 18-19) in the list. Out of total voters 1,43,33,499 are women and 1,34,15293 are men. There is an increase of 3,36,770 female voters and 3,13,005 male voters.
District with most voters Malappuram (33,93,884), district with least voters – Wayanad (6,35,930), district with most female voters – Malappuram (16,97,132), district with most heterosexual voters – Thiruvananthapuram (94), total non-resident voters -89,839 , the district with the largest number of non-resident voters – Kozhikode (35,793). There are 6,27,045 voters above 80 years of age. Those who could not add their names to the final voter list were given an opportunity to apply till March 25.
