PV Anvar MLA, who was arrested last night by Nilambur Police from his residence in Othayi in connection with the vandalism of the Nilambur Forest Office, has been granted bail by the Nilambur First-Class Magistrate Court.
Responding to the verdict, Anvar’s brother, Muhammad Rafi, welcomed the decision and stated that efforts are underway to secure his release from jail today.
The arrest was recorded by a team led by Nilambur CI Sunil Pallikkal. The police have filed cases against PV Anvar and around 11 others under charges including obstructing official duties and damaging public property. Further investigations are ongoing.
