They opined that 500 to 600 units of solar power is supplied to KSEB per month but KSEB estimates only 200 to 300 units and it is better to buy battery and keep it off-grid while installing solar.
Shouldn’t it be ON GRID when solar is installed at home. KSEB will cut off!
It was decided to install solar after seeing the current bill two years ago. Done on grid as per expert advice. Later, I was happy when the bill became ₹700 or ₹800 instead of the old ₹20,000 every month. Over the past 5-6 months, it has gradually increased and the last month’s bill is ₹10,030.!?
That means more than before installing solar! Power consumption has not increased at all. If you see their bill, you will not understand anything. Calculate something with a machine. KSEB, which charges twice as much per unit as other states, has set something based on time in the meter. One amount for daytime electricity, another amount for daytime use and another amount for night use. But less than half the price they pay for the solar we produce!
My 5 KW solar pays 500 to 600 units per month to KSEB. But they only consider it as 200, 300 unit.. Isn’t it worth that much to them?
Even during illegal power cuts, when there is no electricity for 3-4 hours a day due to line work, we will generate electricity through solar and give it to them. He is of no use to us.
