General Education Department Bans Mobile Phones for Teachers in Exam Halls

Thiruvananthapuram: The Department of General Education has introduced new measures to prevent exam malpractices. As part of the new directive, teachers are banned from carrying mobile phones into examination halls, even if the phones are switched off.

The order was issued by the Director of General Education. The directive clearly states that invigilators will no longer be allowed to bring mobile phones into examination halls to ensure smooth and efficient conduct of exams.
