Alappuzha: Another Google Map accident. Three young men who traveled by looking at Google Maps fell into the embankment with their vehicles. The accident took place on Wednesday around 11.30 pm near the pier where the boats dock east of the Punnamada resort. No one is safe.
The incident took place when the employees of the private financial institution were returning after a celebration at the resort. One of the employees who went on a scooter was traveling with the help of Google Maps. Other friends followed in the car.
However, the map did not show the end of the road when we reached the pier. According to the police, the scooter and the car went into the water. The young people were brought ashore by the fishermen. Later the scooter was also brought ashore. The fire brigade and police reached the spot after getting the information.
