Thiruvananthapuram: The State Disaster Management Authority has warned that temperatures in some parts of the state may rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius today. Given the possibility of extreme heat, the public is urged to remain cautious.
People are advised to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, stay hydrated even if they do not feel thirsty, and take immediate rest or seek medical help if they experience discomfort, according to the advisory.
Meanwhile, the National Centre for Ocean Information Services has issued a warning about the possibility of Kallakkadal(swell waves) along the Kerala coast. High waves and potential sea incursion are expected from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM tomorrow.
