The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that rainfall will intensify again in Kerala due to a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.
An orange alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for three districts tomorrow. The districts of Idukki, Ernakulam, and Thrissur will have an orange alert. A yellow alert, indicating the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall, has been issued for the districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad. Residents in landslide and flood-prone areas are advised to move to safe shelters as per authorities instructions, and caution is urged against lightning strikes.
