Suspicion Surrounds Alvin’s Death; Police Yet to Confirm Vehicle Involved

A young man died in a car accident while filming racing reels at Vellayil, Kozhikode, shrouded in mystery. Alvin, a native of Vadakara Kadameri, who was injured in the accident that occurred around 6:30 AM yesterday, passed away at a private hospital by 11:30 AM. However, the police, who have registered a case, have yet to confirm which vehicle caused the accident.

Additionally, there is no clear answer to questions such as how many people accompanied Alvin for the video shoot, who they were, or for whom the filming was done. It is reported that the reels were being shot for the promotion of an establishment operating in Nellikode in the city.

The police have taken two vehicles into custody but have not been able to confirm their ownership. One vehicle is registered in Telangana, while the other is registered to a resident of Payyanad, Malappuram, as per the documents. Preliminary findings indicate that the insurance of one of the vehicles had expired.

Meanwhile, two individuals who were with Alvin and are suspected to have driven the vehicles appeared at the Vellayil police station last night. They were questioned by the police.

Alvin, who regularly engaged in video shoots and related work, had taken charge of the promotion shoot three days ago after returning from Dubai. Although some local residents rushed to the car immediately after the accident, the group that came for the shoot took Alvin to the hospital without seeking help from others.
