High Court rejects Dileep’s demand, should be gives copy of investigation report to actress

Kochi. High Court order to hand over the copy of the investigation report in the actress assault case to the actress who was the victim of the attack. It is directed to hand over the copy of the investigation report in the memory card leakage incident. The order came in a petition filed by the actress stating that the investigation report was not received.

The change in the hash value of the memory card in the custody of the court was a huge discussion. The actress had pointed out in the court that someone had leaked her defamatory footage and that it would be defamatory to her and even a threat to her life.

The actress demanded that action be taken to prevent the release of the footage and that an investigation be carried out on who leaked the footage. The lower court rejected this demand. After approaching the High Court, an investigation was ordered. Although the District Principal Sessions Judge inquired and submitted the report, a copy of the same was not given to the complainant actress.

Following this, the actress approached the High Court demanding a copy of the fact-finding report. The High Court directed the District Principal Sessions Judge to give a copy of the report to the actress. Dileep, the accused in the case, had asked the court not to give a copy of the report to the actress. Dileep also asked for a copy of the report.

It was found that the hash value of the memory card had changed during the examination conducted at the Thiruvananthapuram Forensic Lab. Similarly, the FSL report also came out stating that the memory card checks were done at various times outside the court hours and the checks were done at night and on the phone. Later, the report of the investigation conducted by the District Sessions Judge was forwarded to the High Court.
