Kochi: The High Court will deliver its verdict today on the petition filed by Manjusha, wife of ADM Naveen Babu, seeking a CBI investigation into his death. The family had argued before the High Court that the possibility of Naveen Babu being hanged and murdered could not be ruled out.
The family also alleged that the accused, Divya, was being protected by the government and insisted that a CBI investigation was essential to ensure justice. However, the government maintained that the investigation by the special team was flawless and a CBI probe was unnecessary. The verdict will be delivered by a single bench of Justice Kauser Edappagath.
