Government in the High Court that the evidence presented in the Masappadi case will not stand. Government and Chief Minister have not done anything in favor of CMRL. The government also said that the chief minister can call a meeting at any time. Veena Vijayan said that she is only an IT professional and has no connection with political parties. Veena Vijayan also said that the investigation against her company is part of the political agenda.
The government had replied the other day that the case was a politically motivated allegation and there was no need for a vigilance investigation. It is the stand that both the companies have no complaint in the contract deal between CMRL and Exalogic and the petition is behind the planned move to associate the Chief Minister with it.
The government had clarified its stand in the High Court the other day that the argument that the Chief Minister was involved in the case would not stand and that the allegation was politically motivated. The Chief Minister has not taken a favorable position for CMRL in any situation. CMRL and Exalogic are contractual deals between two private companies. The government also stated that the allegation of payment for non-existent services was fabricated.
