The family has raised suspicions regarding the death of Megha, an Immigration Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer at the international airport, who was found dead on a railway track. Megha’s uncle, Sivadhasan, stated that she had been working for a year and there were no known issues.
The family has lodged a complaint with both the IB and the Petta police, demanding a thorough investigation. Currently, both the IB and the Petta police are conducting inquiries into the incident.
Megha (25), an IB officer at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, was found dead on the railway track. She had left the airport after completing her duty on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:15 AM on Monday between Petta and Chakka in Thiruvananthapuram, when a train hit her. Megha was identified through her Bureau of Civil Aviation ID card found at the scene.
According to the loco pilot’s statement, Megha was talking on her phone while walking when she suddenly lay down across the track as the Jayanti Janata Express train from Kollam to Thiruvananthapuram approached.
