ISRO Chief S Somnath diagnosed with cancer on the day of India’s Aditya-L1 mission launch

Thiruvananthapuram. ISRO Chairman S Somnath said that he was suffering from cancer and was cured. Somnath said that the disease was confirmed on the day Aditya L was launched. He said that the cancer was found in the stomach during the scanning.

Meanwhile, Chandrayaan 3 faced some health problems during its mission. But at that time it was not clear what the illness was. This was discovered on the day of launch of Aditya L1. He responded that his family and friends were shocked when they came to know about this.

After being diagnosed, he went to Chennai. He stated that he was treated and spent four days in the hospital.
