Four students have been expelled from Kalamaserry Polytechnic College in connection with a ganja (cannabis) case. The students who were expelled are Akash, Adithyan, Abhiraj, and Anuraj. The decision was based on the report submitted by the internal inquiry committee.
About a month ago, four students and some former students were caught with ganja by the police. It was found that they were not only in possession of the substance but also involved in its sale among students. An internal investigation was launched immediately following the incident.
The action was taken based on the findings of the report. College authorities also stated that the students would not be issued conduct certificates.
