New Delhi: A CISF woman officer has been suspended for slapping BJP-appointed MP and actress Kangana Ranaut in the face at Chandigarh airport.
Action was taken against CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur who slapped her face after Kangana filed a complaint. Chandigarh police have registered a case against the officer.
After the incident was alleged, CISF took action against the officer. The action was taken within three hours in a high-level meeting at the CISF headquarters. CISF stated that a detailed investigation will be conducted into the incident. The police registered a case after that.
Kangana Ranaut was assaulted when she arrived at the Chandigarh airport for her flight to Delhi. Kulwinder Kaur, a security guard at the airport, slapped the star on the face. It is suggested that Kangana’s previous comment about the farmers’ strike had angered the CISF officer. After the incident, Kangana shared the video stating that she is safe.
