Employees doing work from home are starting to go to office after lockdown, so it is natural to worry. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention had published guidelines for companies on how people can return to a secure office and start work. This is because even if the office has reopened, there is no zero-risk situation there.

There will be many situations in which people will come in contact and lift many surfaces without wanting to touch them, from the lift to lunch in the canteen. Dr. Ajay Mohan of AIIMS says that no treatment has yet been available for infection due to coronavirus. Protecting yourself from exposure to the coronavirus is the best way to prevent this infection. Know about precautions to be taken in the office –

what to do in the lift
If there is an office in a big building, where there is congestion in the lift, then, in that case, anyone will worry. Now it is necessary that there is a hand sanitizer at the entrance of the lift. According to CDC guidelines for reopening the office, soap, hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol, tissues, paper towels, and no-touch trash cans should be readily available. Some people like to press the lift button with a paper towel.

When sharing bathroom, conference room
Facilities like bathrooms to conference rooms will have to be shared on going to the office. According to the guidelines, staggered hours means that an employee is allowed to come or leave one hour early or one hour late. The reason for this is that in such a situation when you have to reach the office on your own time, you will have to face congestion in public transport. The relaxation of rules regarding time will give the employee an opportunity for safety. The same applies to bathrooms. The employee should avoid going to the bathroom when more people are using it. Take care of the hygiene of hands and do not touch surfaces where there is a possibility of infection.

Lunch sitting with a colleague at the same table is also risky, as one has to touch the mouth and face while eating food. Avoid sharing food with each other. Employers and employees should avoid face-to-face meetings in the conference room. Try to virtualize it too.

Masks required full time
People should continue to use masks in the office, whether they are taking breaks or maintaining a physical distance. Especially in those places where employees have to meet people. According to the CDC guidelines, the rule of covering with a face mask or cloth should apply if possible. Wearing a mask is most important when you are in places where you cannot maintain social distancing, such as a lift. Therefore, one should find a mask that can be worn comfortably all day without touching or adjusting. But the same mask should not be worn for more than a day.

Clean your hands thoroughly before wearing a mask. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can be used for this.

When office clothes go home
Kovid-19 mainly spreads from one person to another when the person sneezes, coughs, talks, or breathes. While the virus can survive for several days on some surfaces. Experts say the risk of mites on clothes is low. Small droplets that float in the air for a while are not likely to accumulate on clothes due to aerodynamics.
