Kerala Awaits By-Election Results: BJP’s Palakkad Candidate Offers Prayers, Confident of Victory

With just hours remaining for the by-election results in Kerala, candidates and political alliances are optimistic about their chances. BJP’s Palakkad candidate, C. Krishnakumar, began the day with a visit to the Pallassena Devi Temple, where he participated in special prayers early this morning. BJP sources predict a victory margin of at least 5,000 votes for Krishnakumar.

Speaking to the media, Krishnakumar expressed his faith in the blessings of the Pallassena Devi Temple, a place he visits regularly. He exuded confidence, stating, “This time, BJP will secure victory in Palakkad with a margin exceeding 5,000 votes.”

After an intense month-and-a-half-long campaign, voters in Palakkad cast their ballots, with a recorded polling percentage of 70.51%. While this marks a 3% drop from the previous election, the BJP draws hope from the increased voter turnout in its stronghold, Palakkad Municipality.

As the state anxiously awaits the outcome, the BJP remains hopeful that its groundwork and temple blessings will translate into success in Palakkad.
