Kerala Mourns Arjun’s Funeral; Loved Ones Pay Their Final Respects with a Last Kiss

Arjun, who has become the heartthrob of Kerala, is Janasagaram. An entire nation paid their last respects to Arjun at the pandal in the courtyard of the house along with his loved ones. It was announced earlier that the cremation would be at eleven o’clock in the morning, but as the line of people who came to have a last glimpse grew longer, the time to take the cremation extended again.

Karwar MLA Satish Sale, Ishwar Malpe, MK Raghavan MP, Shafi Parampil MP, Ministers AK Sashindran, KB Ganesh Kumar, MLAs Thotathi Ravindran, Ahmed Devarkovil, KM Sachin Dev, Linto Joseph, Mayor Bina Philip, A Pradeep Kumar, PK. Firoz and many others paid their last respects.

After the DNA test results came out yesterday afternoon, Arjun’s body was taken from the Karwar Medical College Hospital by his brother and sister-in-law. Later in the evening, the ambulance left Karwar with the dead body. Karwar MLA Satish Krishna Sale, Manjeswaram MLA AKM Ashraf, who led the search in Shirur, accompanied him throughout the journey. Ishwar Malpe also joined from Udupi. Around two in the morning, the crowd paid their respects at the Kasaragod bus stand.

The ambulance arrived at Azhiyur, which is the district border of Kozhikode, around 5 am today. Minister AK Saseendran received the body here. Kozhikode Collector Snehil Kumar Singh, KK Rama MLA and others came to Azhiyur.
