Onam exam in public schools of the state from September 3. Exam will be conducted till 12th. Onam vaccation is from 13th to 22nd. Schools will open on the 23rd.
Education Minister V. Sivankutty made it clear in the teachers’ organization meeting. The Department of Education has stated that the all pass system will be stopped from this year in class 8th and bridge course will be conducted for those who do not get the minimum marks. It has been decided to implement the requirement of minimum 30 percent marks to pass in 2024-25 academic year in 8th class, 2025-26 academic year in 8th and 9th class and 2026-27 academic year in 8th, 9th and 10th class.
