Haldwani: Kerala won its first gold in the women’s weightlifting 45 kg category at the 38th National Games. P.S. Sufna Jasmine won the first gold for Kerala.
With this, Kerala won three medals, including one gold and two bronze. Sajan Prakash won a double bronze for Kerala in swimming yesterday, the first day of the Games. Sajan won bronze in 1m freestyle and 100m butterfly.
