Haldwani: Kerala has won its third gold at the National Games being held in Uttarakhand. In Wushu, K. Muhammad Jasil won gold for Kerala in the Taulu Nangun category. With this, Kerala’s medal tally at the National Games has reached seven. Kerala’s medal tally is three gold, one silver and three bronze.
This is the first time Kerala has won gold in Wushu at the National Games. In the last National Games, Kerala had two bronze medals in Wushu. Meanwhile, Sajan Prakash has raised Kerala’s medal hopes in swimming and entered the finals again.
Sajan entered the finals in the 200m butterfly stroke. Harshita Jayaram also entered the finals in the women’s 50m breaststroke. Both finals will be held today.
