Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, will arrive in Munambam today. He will inaugurate the mass gathering organized by the BJP under the banner ‘Thank You Modi’.
The minister is scheduled to arrive at Nedumbassery Airport at 11:20 AM. Following his arrival, he will visit the Varapuzha Archdiocese headquarters for a meeting with Major Archbishop Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil. After attending a press conference at Taj Vivanta in Ernakulam, the minister is expected to reach the Munambam protest venue by around 5 PM.
Following the recent amendment in the law, around 50 residents of Munambam had joined the BJP. BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar, BDJS President Thushar Vellappally, and other key leaders will also attend the event. Although the visit was initially scheduled for the 9th of this month, it was postponed to today due to prior commitments.
