Three cannabis plants were discovered near Pulliman Junction on the Karunagappally-Oachira National Highway. Excise officials arrived at the scene after being informed, uprooted the plants, and destroyed them. An investigation has been launched following the registration of a case by the Excise Department.
Meanwhile, the Attingal Excise seized a large stash of cannabis. The team intercepted 6.5 kg of cannabis being transported on a KSRTC Swift bus and arrested two individuals, Anas and Sukumaran, both from Vallakadavu. The bust occurred at 2 PM at the Attingal bus stand.
