Alappuzha North Police have arrested two individuals involved in thefts targeting temples. The arrested suspects are 33-year-old Ruppul Amin from Assam and Sooraj from Manakkachira.
Ruppul Amin was apprehended for stealing silver vessels and other items from the Kaithamuttam temple five days ago. Sooraj was arrested for breaking into the donation box at Mullakkal Ujjayini Temple, stealing money, and damaging a nearby shop’s CCTV camera.
The arrests were made by a police team led by North CI Sajikumar, with SI Devika and officers Robinson, Lavan, Sujith, Rajeev, Binoy, Sudheesh Kumar, and Lijo.
