Kozhikode: KSEB has explained the incident of the death of a 19-year-old man who shock while standing into the storefront in the rain and . There was a leak in the service wire. The investigation report of KSEB also indicated that the electricity may have flowed due to the wind and rain and the tree branches above the shop hit the electric wire and the tin sheet of the shop.
A bulb worked at night in the shop. There is also a leak in the wire that the bulb is connected to. The preliminary conclusion is that electricity may have flowed through this to the pole. KSEB also explains that no leak was found during the inspection conducted by the officials the day before.
A KSEB investigation team led by Kozhikode District Electrical Inspector visited the incident site yesterday. The shopkeeper’s statement has been recorded. The final report will be submitted to the power minister after receiving the statement of the officials and the post mortem report of the deceased youth.
Yesterday, a young man died of shock while standing on the side of a shop in the rain. Muhammed Rijas (19) died in Puthiot, Kutikatur. Rijas was preparing for higher studies after completing his secondary school. Rijas got a shock when his scooter broke down and stopped at the side of the shop, and while standing on it, he caught hold of a pole.
