KSRTC cuts down on ordinary services due to a lack of profitability

Thiruvananthapuram. KSRTC’s cut in ordinary services is troubling people. The services are cut in the name of lack of profit. Daily service has been reduced by one lakh kilometers in three months. The verdict is that there is no service that does not get 28 rupees per kilometer. The cut is in services after 10 am and night service.

Meanwhile, passengers have to wait on the road for hours, including in the southern and hilly areas of Thiruvananthapuram, where only KSRTC is allowed to operate. Three months ago the daily service was 15 lakh km, today it is 14 lakh km.

From 4500 to 4750 buses per day, now only 3900 to 4000 buses are plying.
