Masappadi case, Sasidharan Kartha again in the High Court, demanding that he be exempted from interrogation

Kochi: CMRL MD CN Sasidharan Karta is again in the High Court against the ED summons in the case involving Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan. Sasidharan filed the plea citing health problems. The demand is to avoid questioning. CMRL employees have also approached the High Court.

The ED had directed him to appear today for questioning in connection with the case. Sasidharan had approached the court against ED on 12th of this month. He approached the court seeking to stop further proceedings in the ED summons. But the High Court clarified that it cannot interfere in the ED investigation. The judgment of the High Court also considered the arguments of the ED.

Karta is being interrogated in the case of the chief minister’s daughter, Veena Vijayan, who was given a month’s pay. Meanwhile, the ED is planning to approach the court against Sasidharan for not cooperating with the case.
