Massive fire breaks out at a car workshop in Puthenkurish, Mananthadam, along the Kochi-Dhanushkodi National Highway. The fire occurred around 3 a.m. on Friday at a facility named S.M. Automobiles. Several cars were damaged in the incident.
Around twelve cars inside the workshop were partially burned. About ten cars were safely moved out without damage. The fire was brought under control after nearly three hours of effort. Five fire units and 30 personnel from Pattimattom, Thrippunithura, and Gandhinagar stations were involved in extinguishing the fire. The operation was led by Pattimattom Fire Station Officer N.H. Asainar and Station Officer K.V. Manoharan.
