The detailed examination of the SFIO chargesheet in the monthly bribery case involving the Chief Minister’s daughter, Veena Vijayan, will begin today. The report is currently under the consideration of the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court, which is the trial court for the case.
The SFIO chargesheet names Veena, CMRL MD Sashidharan Kartha, and others as accused. The court will accept the chargesheet into its records only after completing the detailed scrutiny. Once that is done, summons will be issued to the accused, and the court will move into the trial proceedings.
