Nenmanara double murder: Youth Congress holds march protesting police lapses in mother-son killing

Palakkad: Youth Congress marched to the police station to protest the police’s failure in the Nenmara double murder. The march was stopped by the police barricade in front of the police station. When the activists climbed over the barricade and protested, an altercation broke out between the activists and the police. A large police contingent has been deployed at the spot. The activists, led by MLA Rahul Mangkootathil, were dissuaded from the clash. The tension in the area eased after all the activists taken into custody by the police were released.

Rahul Mangkootathil said that the police created the situation for the Nenmara murder. If Chenthamara did the murder, then it was the Nenmara CI who created the opportunity for the murder. The police should clarify why they let the accused go despite the complaint. The accused violated the bail conditions because of the police’s loyalty to the accused. It is better to tie four kolams with the money given to the police. It is better for the police to give weapons to the murderers to tear people apart.

Meanwhile, the inquest report on the Nenmara double murder has been released. The report states that Sudhakaran had 8 stab wounds on his body. The wounds were on his hands, feet, neck and head.
